It’s time again for the #FeelGoodLinky. This year is just flying by isn’t it?
This month’s linky is a little bit different. I’m taking part in #Blogtober17 with HexMum. She has given us 31 great prompts for posts every day in October. Today’s prompt is “All about you”. So today, I’m writing the A-Z of me.
A is for Additional Needs
I have 3 children with 3 different conditions and their own additional needs.
B is for Blog
Well, you’re here, so I guess Beth in a Box doesn’t need much introduction. Although this blog is definitely my sixth baby.
C is for Cornwall
Growing up I always felt connected to Cornwall despite never having visited there. While researching my family history I discovered that a large number of my ancestors hailed from Cornwall.
D is for Dorset
I spent many happy summer weeks down in Weymouth. Dorset most definitely holds a special place in my heart.
E is for Energy
I lack energy a lot of the time. However, if I have energy, everyone needs to watch out because I really do have energy.
F is for Family
My family members are my life. I wouldn’t be able to live without them. They are truly everything to me!
G is for Genealogy
I love family history. It started over 10 years ago and I love the thrill of searching through old documents at the County Archives.
H is for Hernia
Thanks to my stubbornness and the 2nd c section I now have a rather large incisional hernia. I’m currently on the waiting list to be seen by the specialists.
I is for Immune System
I always took my immune system for granted and never really understood how it works and how clever it is. Since having Enfys (who has 22q and an underdeveloped thymus gland) I have a new found interest in the ins and outs of the immune system.
J is for James
My husband. The provider.
K is for Kettle
Kettle is my most used word. “Put the kettle on” is my most used phrase.
L is for Lasagna
I love lasagna. It’s a true feel good meal that just manages to pick me up regardless. Mmmm… Comfort Food.
M is for Mummy
I’ve been a Mummy for more than 12 years and I love it. As hard as it is, it is the most rewarding vocation ever!
N is for Noisy
I wasn’t born with a volume control switch. I can be ridiculously loud or much too quiet.
O is for Organised
I love to organise things. Although, the more I organised the more disorganised I appear to be.
P is for Parents
I have great parents. They did a fab job at raising me and it’s because of them I am who I am.
Q is for Quiet
I like silence. My house is rarely quiet so when it is quiet I like to make the most of it.
R is for Recipes
I love cooking and part of the fun of being in the kitchen is looking for new recipes to try out on the family.
S is for Stationery
I love stationery. I will buy a notebook or a pen just because I can.
T is for Trust
I don’t trust people easily but if you are lucky enough to gain my trust then you have it forever, (Unless you break that trust).
U is for Unicorn
Humph, I love unicorns. I actually have some great unicorn slippers. I buy the girls clothes just because they have a unicorn (or two) on them.
V is for Vacuum
I vacuum the house so frequently that it feels like a part of my body.
W is for Weight Watchers
I’m on my 2nd Weight Watchers Journey and I have a long journey in front of me.
X is for Xerox
I first heard this word in Matilda and it took me years to find out what it actually meant.
Y is for Yawning
I tend to do a lot of this. And in fact I just started to yawn as I typed the word Yawning.
Z is for Zero
Zero is the number of children I wanted before I had Garreth 12 years ago.
