#BacktoSchool – You need Smiggle for September

7th August 2017

The most exciting part of preparing to go back to school is choosing new stationery.  Actually, that may just be me and my kids.  They LOVE choosing new pens, pencils, backpacks and little gadgety bits.  Did you know that choosing a bag is a life-changing decision?

Garreth wants a plain bag, big enough for all his stuff and the kitchen sink.  Seren, on the other hand, wants girly and pretty.  Practical doesn’t feature too highly on her list.

Seren’s Smiggle rucksack has finally given up the ghost after 3 years of almost constant use.  It’s battered, holey and a little bit wrecked.  Smiggle have actually helped us out again by giving her a brand new, pretty and seriously awesome backpack to review.  They even threw in a matching notebook and gorgeous scented keyring.  They have made Seren a very happy girl.

Go Girl Reverse Sequin Backpack

The latest trend is the reversible sequin look and I have to admit, it is a pretty good look.  The sequins give the bag a bright and colourful look… and you can choose between Rainbow or Silver.  The Reverse Sequin Backpack is going to be perfect for Seren to carry her reading folder, lunch box and water bottle.  My only concern is that everyone will think it’s totally awesome and want one too.  I don’t think it would fit everything a secondary school child would need but for primary age it’s perfect.  You can buy it directly from Smiggle and it costs £32.

A5 Reverse Sequin Notebook

In typical Smiggle fashion, the notebook is amazing.  With the same reversible sequin cover as the bag, it can take the place of any standard notebook for kids and adults alike.  You could buy it for your child or you could just buy it for yourself.  It’s available directly from Smiggle for £13.50.

Scented Fluffy Shimmer Character Keyring

Who doesn’t love a pretty scented keyring?  The Scented Fluffy Shimmer Character Keyring is the perfect addition to the Sequin backpack.  Cute and very scented it just fits.  Seren cannot wait to show it off in school. If you’re child just has to have one it costs £7.

All three items are from Smiggles Back to School range and are available alongside a whole host of other great products suitable for all ages and both boys and girls.  So pop along to Smiggle and check out everything!

B actually isn’t a massive fan but Mummy is obsessed!

Can mummy have a back to school bag & stationary do you think?

I think the bright colours are the winner… Everyone loves a bit of colour and sparkle. Even the boys ranges are bright and colourful.

Smiggle are amazing! 🙂 Getting the bag is a huge decision. It has to have a little bit of them in it. Seren’s bag totally suits everything about her personality.

A Smiggle shop has recently opened in a town quite local to me. We’re all huge stationary fans too so looks like a good one to visit 🙂

Oh I love stationery! It was always my favourite part of going back to school. I still find any excuse to buy a new notebook or pen. I can’t wait until my little girl is old enough for school and stationery.

I hear you on that one! I buy new stationery just because I want it and it looks nice. It’s exciting helping your kids buy stationery! Honestly… It’s like double the joy! 🙂
