We’re off out today so this is a scheduled post! (Check me out being all organised and stuff!) Seriously, hubby hasn’t had a bank holiday Monday off in I don’t know how long so I have planned to make the absolute most of it. We have decided to visit The Welsh Hawking Centre, followed by chips on the beach!
In the next few weeks, my meal plan post will hopefully also include an idea I found on Oh Little One Sweet through last week’s Meal Plan Monday. The idea is simple, to write down exactly what I have purchased. The hope is to really curb any frivolous spending on things I don’t really need because I have to be honest. I’m not starting this week because my shopping is in two parts and I didn’t do the first.
So, what’s for dinner?
- Cheese & Potato Pie with Bacon – This was on last week’s meal plan but we went for an impromptu meal out because I was feeling a bit low, so it is back up this week!
- Beef Burgers & Chips – I have switched this around as we were going to have it next week but I have the burgers here already, which means I have more to spend on our day out.
- BBQ Chicken & Rice – I am really fancying this right now! I am cheating though and using ready-made BBQ sauce. It means I can quickly throw it in the slow cooker and forget about it.
- Fish, Mash & Peas – A staple in our house that the kids LOVE!
