Dear Baby Comma,
I can’t believe we are already in April. You are almost 13 months old… last month we celebrated your 1st birthday! It was a fab day… despite the fact you had Chicken Pox.
I can’t believe we’ve had you for a whole 12 months. Although, you haven’t had it easy since November. This is the longest you haven’t been ill for and it’s only been 3 weeks.
You have come on in leaps and bounds in the last 3 months.
You still want to be wherever I am and if you think I’m getting ready to go out you are behind me waiting to follow.
You look forward to meal times and if I put you in your high chair you immediately start shouting “oooooh” for food.
Your favourite lunch consists of cheese, breadsticks, grapes and bananas. You love spaghetti Bolognese.
You are cheeky and love a game of peek-a-boo. Particularly using the curtains in the living room.
You adore bath time but are a bit of a pain when it comes to sitting down in the bath.
Nappy free time is a little hit and miss… given the fact that you take great pleasure in playing with anything that exits your body. :s
You can stand, and cruise around the furniture… but as for crawling… you are like lightening.
You have developed a fondness for climbing the stairs and leaping off beds.
You sleep far better in between Mummy and Daddy than you do in your cot.
Your smile brightens the day and your personality shines through on the dullest of days.
Comma, you are a beautiful baby boy, inside and out. You are going to be a big brother in less than 5 months.
I can’t wait to see what this month brings.
I love you now and forever my small one.
All my love,
