Week 11 of the weight loss challenge and I’ve done it….. I’ve descended to the next category… I am now another stone lighter.
WEIGHT: 17st 13.8lb
TOTAL: 24.2lb (or 1st 10.2lb)
How has this week been?
In one word: horrendous!!!!!!!! Half way through the week I felt like chucking in the towel… then I suddenly realised that I couldn’t, and it got a little better, but on Saturday night, after an argument with Hubby-to-be and him leaving for a night shift, I quickly devoured 5 (yes 5) Penguin bars, followed by a few packets of crisps and I spent the rest of the night hunting for things to pig out on.
I know I am a comfort eater, that’s my biggest issue. At least, though, I admit it! I was unhappy and my first instinct was to reach for the chocolate and gorge myself. This gorging wasn’t helped by the onset of the wicked witch; leaving me a bit of an emotional (and hormonal) gibbering wreck…..
Today, I’m relatively pleased with my progress…. I have beaten 18st down with a rather blunt object… and am now on my way to 17st… However, I know I am not safe yet. 0.2lb is nothing, I can drink that in a coffee, I can also get rid of it when I have a whizz. When I get to 17st 12lb, I will be able to relax a little more, but I know one thing for certain – I’m never seeing 19st again!!!! (If I do, you have permission to slap me across the face, or hit me with the aforementioned blunt object, whichever is easier for you!)
Although, this week has been a bit topsy turvy, there have been positives…
- My (well Sim’s) wedding dress is sat in Boyo’s wardrobe…. I’ve measure the waist and have roughly 7” to lose from my own waist… But I’m heading for 9”.
- My new ‘get into jeans’ arrived on Saturday, and I’m already wearing them. I’m a size 20!!! I haven’t been a size 20 since before I had Boyo (8 years ago). I’ve lost 3 dress sizes in 3 months.
- I bought myself some new clothes on the weekend… all size 20… Yay!!!
Overall, I really am back into it this week…. I would like to be safely into the 17’s next Monday, hopefully even close to hitting the 2st lost mark!

I actually really excited about this week’s menu… In fact, I’m hungry just thinking about it!
