The Wedding Weight Loss Challenge Week 11 (& Meal Plan Monday!)

Week 11 of the weight loss challenge and I’ve done it….. I’ve descended to the next category… I am now another stone lighter.

WEIGHT: 17st 13.8lb
CHANGE: -0.8lb
TOTAL: 24.2lb (or 1st 10.2lb)
BMI: 39.32

How has this week been?

In one word: horrendous!!!!!!!! Half way through the week I felt like chucking in the towel… then I suddenly realised that I couldn’t, and it got a little better, but on Saturday night, after an argument with Hubby-to-be and him leaving for a night shift, I quickly devoured 5 (yes 5) Penguin bars, followed by a few packets of crisps and I spent the rest of the night hunting for things to pig out on.

I know I am a comfort eater, that’s my biggest issue.  At least, though, I admit it! I was unhappy and my first instinct was to reach for the chocolate and gorge myself.  This gorging wasn’t helped by the onset of the wicked witch; leaving me a bit of an emotional (and hormonal) gibbering wreck…..

Today, I’m relatively pleased with my progress…. I have beaten 18st down with a rather blunt object… and am now on my way to 17st… However, I know I am not safe yet.  0.2lb is nothing, I can drink that in a coffee, I can also get rid of it when I have a whizz.  When I get to 17st 12lb, I will be able to relax a little more, but I know one thing for certain – I’m never seeing 19st again!!!! (If I do, you have permission to slap me across the face, or hit me with the aforementioned blunt object, whichever is easier for you!)

Although, this week has been a bit topsy turvy, there have been positives…

  1. My (well Sim’s) wedding dress is sat in Boyo’s wardrobe…. I’ve measure the waist and have roughly 7” to lose from my own waist… But I’m heading for 9”.
  2. My new ‘get into jeans’ arrived on Saturday, and I’m already wearing them.  I’m a size 20!!! I haven’t been a size 20 since before I had Boyo (8 years ago).  I’ve lost 3 dress sizes in 3 months.
  3. I bought myself some new clothes on the weekend… all size 20… Yay!!!

Overall, I really am back into it this week…. I would like to be safely into the 17’s next Monday, hopefully even close to hitting the 2st lost mark!

Breakfasts

Weight Watchers Yogurt & Banana
Cereal & Milk

Lunches

Egg on Toast
Ham Salad Wrap

Dinners

Tagliatelle Bolognaise
Chicken & Bacon Wraps
Roast Dinner with all the trimmings
Roast Pork Loin Steaks with Cherry Tomatoes, Peppers and Garlic served with Vegetables.
Tuna Pasta Bake

I actually really excited about this week’s menu… In fact, I’m hungry just thinking about it!

    Whatever the scales say, the fact that you can fit into smaller clothes is the biggest sign that you're doing great. Don't let one bad week make you feel like a failure – overall you're doing amazingly 🙂

    There is something really good in getting down a dress size and you've done it….yay!!! I'm trying to get down another size but not quite there yet, depends on the shop (thats my excuse). Well done x

      I'm thrilled that I have dropped the dress sizes… I'm going by one shop and one shop only at the moment. It would make me feel too miserable if they didn't fit … lol..

    Well done on the weight loss, that is fantastic! I have been such a rubbish dieter lately, I've decided to take a leaf out of my friend Tara's book and give her lifestyle choice (diet I think is the wrong word) a try after seeing the massive difference it has made to her.

    And if it makes you feel any better I just ate a grab bag of thai sweet chilli crisps and a mars duo 😉

      Thank you… I have to be honest, I'm not being a great dieter. I think the biggest part of losing weight is a lifestyle choice… I'm certainly thinking twice before grabbing that 2nd packet of crisps.

    You are doing so amazingly well. THREE dress sizes. That's incredible. And we're only 3 months into the year. Imagine what you can do in the next 6 months. I cannot wait to see you in your wedding dress. Make sure you take lots of photos and blog about it when you have your first fitting.

    We all have bad days. Don't let those Penguins knock you off the wagon!

      I can't wait for the first dress fitting… I have a feeling that my lumps and bumps may need to be squeezed into it though….

      I am hoping for that 2st lost but I'm not going to be disappointed if I don't get there. I think I'd have to pull something major out of the bag for an almost 4lb loss.

    Awww well done on your fantastic weight loss hun! I am so proud of you! You will look fantastic in the dress and I will be extremely proud and emotional when I see you in it! Let's put the past week behind us and rock this bad boy diet like no tomorrow!xx

    You must be thrilled to have lost that weight and gone through your second stone bracket and dropped 3 dress sizes, it's fantastic! I can't seem to get in the mind set to lose any weight, I really do need to get off my rather large rear end and move a bit and not just to the fridge to stuff my face but reading your post made me want to do it too x

      I am thrilled… and it makes me realise that I can lose the weight…. You will get there… but it's hard to keep the right mindset sometimes…
